What I loved about lakme fashion week
1. FEELING OF SUCCESS
No matter if you were the designer, the organiser, the attendee or the ticketmaster! It was a high+postive energy, charged up atmosphere of fashionistas celebrating the success.

4. Interesting People
5. Good Food & Location
6. Fabulous networking opportunities
What could've been better
I'm an outsider to Lakme Fashion Week, so what do I know? but IMHO:
Unnecessary air of exclusivity: There should've been ticket sales even at a higher price amount. The designers would have definitely benefitted from having more buyers there. I didn't notice a flurry of buying activity.
More diversity in designers
While I did network as much as I could, in the limited interactions I had, there weren't many international buyers, which is what I guess the designers would've benefitted most from.
On social networks, I noticed when people asked "how can I get tickets?" they were always left unanswered, like they were unwanted. Might be some strategy of exclusivity behind it, but not something I do on my channels.
The Event & FAQ
There were two main areas, both through the same entrance. If a designer gave you a pass this only got you access to one show that lasted an hour and wasn't like a day pass to see multiple shows. Each show there were 3 designers.
The other area was some general stalls which housed some non-fashion-ish brands like there was a tea-stall, Suzuki had the Grand Vitara and there was Skechers.
Then at the back were all the designers. Had many lovely conversations with them all. Was expecting them to be snooty, but they were all amazing. And funnily enough the snobbiest of them all was a streetwear collective. lolz!
